G.M.S. began when the two met in Amsterdam in high school at age 14. Passionate about electronic music they chose to leave school and seek their education in the club scene.
Even though they were too young to enter a nightclub legally, Riktam and Bansi began spinning at clubs in Amsterdam.
But it was only after the unveiling of their debut album ‘Chaos Laboratory’, the young duo established G.M.S. as a serious player in the Psy-Trance scene and only hinted

at what would come.

Josef Quinteros (Bansi) passed away on 19/06/2018, and GMS has become the solo project of Shajahan Matkin (Riktam) since then.
